Here there are a number of tables where  you can have lunch and dinner against the evocative backdrop of Vigoleno castle.

The specialities of the house are platters of local cold cuts and  cheeses accompanied by torta fritta (fried savoury pasta) and a good local wine. The local cuisine of Piacenza and Parma has its strong points in tortelli d’erbetta (cushions of pasta filled with cooked beet tops and ricotta cheese, with a butter and sage sauce and pisarei e fasö, (small, ‘gnocchi’ with a bean and tomato sauce) both made strictly by hand.

There are platters of artisanal cured meats and local cheeses with Grana Padano (a local cheese, similar to Parmesan),  vegetables, Kilometro Zero desserts, a glass of  wine from the Piacenza hills, raisin wines and Vin Santo(Holy Wine) from Vigoleno.
